What: Timed/Untimed 5K Run
Where: Fred G Bond Park Cary, NC

Why: To raise money for Global Leadership Academy in Busia, Uganda
Cost: $30 for timed run or $25 for untimed. Cost goes up October 11th by $5.
Bond Park 5K Race Course:
All proceeds will go to 7 Billion Reasons, which is a global non−profit organization working in Busia, Uganda. They operate Global Leadership Academy, a Christian school of distinction, with pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade classes. Global Leadership Academy’s objective is to distinctly equip students to think critically, creatively, and Biblically through exceptional training in academics, technology, and leadership. Their vision is to expand the campus to have grades 2 through 7, to teach gardening and poultry farming for sustainability, to build an assembly hall and a church to support additional ministries. They have begun construction of the assembly hall which will serve as a dining hall for the school.
In addition, 7 Billion Reasons works with the local church and local Christian ministries to provide food, clothing, shelter, and medical assistance to children in desperate need in Busia.

Advanced check-in will be held on Friday, Oct 27 from 5-8 pm at Fleet Feet Sports Morrisville at 3027 Village Market Place.
The Reasons to Run 5K takes place at Bond Park in Cary, NC on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Participants can choose from either a timed 5K Run or an untimed 5K Run. In addition, walkers are welcomed to participate.

Runners and walkers will receive a dri-fit race shirt. However, please note that participants that sign up on or after October 9th are not guaranteed to receive a race shirt.
Race awards to the top 3 overall males and females are provided by Fleet Fleet Sports.
